Attention all Gilbert Softball Little League Families

We are proud to announce our new director of Concessions David Zarelli/Mitchell. 
David comes from a family of Italian delis in NY, a family restaurant and a
catering business.  David is going to bring our concession stand into a new era
with some great new food, healthier choices, and even breakfast with an
assortment of K-Cups for coffee, tea, cappuccino, and hot chocolate.  David will
try to provide something for everybody including such things as…..

Fresh Muffins, Assorted donuts, bagels, fruit cups, and egg sandwiches.

Snacks like nachos, pretzels, popcorn, granola bars, protein bars, fresh apples
and bananas, and some ice cream!

Dinner and lunch type foods including…

Sabrett Hot Dogs from NY with Chili, cheese, kraut, onion sauce, however you
like it!
Grilled chicken salads
Sandwiches
Pulled Pork sandwiches

Along with that, David is going to try and have a different special most days
and he is going to kick it off this weekend with Sausage, pepper and onion
heroes!

It might not be in full force this Friday(5/18) but it will be open from 4:30 to end
of last game and on Saturday(5/19) from 7:30 until 8:30.

So forget the fast food and support our girls with some excellent new food at
the New GSLL Concession Stand!

What is TOC?

It is the Tournament of Champions! This is where the winners of our Playoffs go and play against the best of the other district teams. Since San Tan did not participate this season we are sending the top 2 teams for each Division! Below are the dates we will be playing, so come out and root for GSLL! 


 Dates:

• Minors: 6/4 ~ 6/7
• Majors: 6/11 ~ 6/14

GSLL

All Star Evaluation dates for players age 9-12 (league age) have been set!

Evaluations will be June 1 and June 2!

Friday 6:30-8:30pm 2 fields (9-10;11-12)
Saturday 8:30am-10:30am 2 fields (9-10;11-12)

This year, ALL STARS will be an OPEN evaluation process for all current GSLL players.

All girls who wish to participate in ALL STARS must be present and put forth their best effort in the entire evaluation process in order to be considered for the team.

We Will be able to announce the teams for 9-10 and 10-11 on June 2nd and Districts to start the week of 6-16.

11-12 can announce on 6-15 and start Districts 6-23.

All Stars is a big commitment if you are selected; Mandatory practices Monday thru Saturday, Team functions, fundraisers, travel to other cities as necessary (this probably means you are winning and need to move on). If you have family vacations planned and cannot commit to the All Star Team, please be courteous so as not to take another deserving girls place. If you are one of the lucky, hardworking players/parents that get to take part in this experience, it is alot of fun team and Character building experience! It is improtant that both players and parents take this seriously!
